Whipped Goat Cheese with Candied Bacon 

Candied Bacon:

  • 6-8 slices bacon chopped

  • 1 T rosemary chopped

  • 1 t brown sugar 

  • 1 t honey and a dash of cayenne 

Mix the above and bake for 10 minutes til candied and crisp

Whipped Goat Cheese:

  • Whip 10 oz goat cheese with 4 oz cream cheese

  • Add 2 T EVOO

  • Pinch of salt 

  • Spread in a serving dish

  • Sprinkle with chopped pitted dates and the candied bacon

  • Mix 1/3 honey; 1T rosemary, chopped; and a pinch of cayenne

  • Drizzle on top and serve warm
