Sautéed Sea Scallops with Smoked Bacon and Maple Cream Sauce 

Scallops:

  • Scallops, tendon removed 

  • Salt and pepper 

  • Evoo

Heat pan add oil, season scallops and dry well.
Sear scallops on both sides
Remove from pan

Make sauce~

  • Bacon lardons

  • 1/4 c maple syrup 

  • 1/2 c heavy cream

In the same pan,  brown the bacon

Add the maple syrup 

Stir in The cream and season…

Return the scallops to the pan to reheat.
