Sautéed Sea Scallops with Smoked Bacon and Maple Cream Sauce
Scallops:
Scallops, tendon removed
Salt and pepper
EVOO
Heat pan add oil, season scallops and dry well
Sear scallops on both sides
Remove from pan
Make sauce~
Bacon lardons
1/4 c maple syrup
1/2 c heavy cream
In the same pan, brown the bacon
Add the maple syrup
Stir in the cream and season…
Return the scallops to the pan to reheat
